Mentorship Program

 

The Esther Cannizzo Junior Golf Foundation Mentorship Program allows junior golfers to connect with experienced members of the golf community as well as the business world.  These mentors provide help in any number of situations related to golf and life.

 

At its most basic level, mentoring lets a young person know that there is someone who cares about them and is there to help them deal with the challenges of being the best they can be at the game of golf.

 

Program Details

 

The program runs from March 1st through October 31st

 

Mentor Responsibilities*

• communicate two times a month via email or text (Minimum)

• arrange a round of golf with the mentee once a month if possible

• arrange some time to practice together

• arrange to watch a mentee in competition

• check in with coaches and teachers for updates

• help mentees with issues that they are experiencing with their game

• provide Jackie with updates on the mentee progress

 

Mentee Responsibilities

• provide mentors with tournament schedules
